EURO BUS EXPO 2010 - 200 DAYS TO GO AND 250 EXHIBITORS ALREADY CONFIRMED

9th April 2010

With 200 days to go, Euro Bus Expo now has over 250 exhibitors confirmed for the three day event that takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 2 to 4 November.

A strong, quality line-up of major suppliers from across the bus and coach industry is being supported by a programme of topical, informative, thought-provoking and free-to-attend seminars. The Technology Zone will showcase the latest IT-related products and the Training and Development Zone will offer advice on developing employee skills.

Steve Whiteway, CPT President, and Commercial Director of London-based Epsom Coaches, says: “In this challenging economic environment I am particularly pleased to see the support being given to Euro Bus Expo by all the leading vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. With over 250 exhibitors already confirmed, the exhibition is already one of the key dates in my diary for 2010.”

CPT President Steve Whiteway and CPT Chief Executive Simon Posner start the countdown of 200 days until Euro Bus Expo 2010

Simon Posner, CPT Chief Executive says: “Bus and coach operators from across the UK are always looking at ways to reduce costs, improve quality, and deliver a high quality of service to their customers. Euro Bus Expo promises to give visitors up to date news on products and services that will inform their buying decisions. This show will focus on the greener issues for our industry as operators and manufacturers work together to develop low carbon fuel solutions for vehicles. The post-budget announcement of the £10m Green Bus Fund will give operators, local authorities and manufacturers another reason to visit the show.”

Euro Bus Expo Show Director Mark Griffin says that working closely with CPT and exhibitors looks set to deliver a sell-out show. “The show is already 95% sold and we are on target for another successful event which looks like being a sell out once again,” he says. “We are aiming to attract over 10,000 visitors from around 50 countries. With 200 days still to go, Euro Bus Expo really is looking to be a strong event for the UK and European bus and coach industry. We are already aware of some very interesting products which will be showcased for the first time this year.”

The exhibition is organised by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) and Expo Management. Any organisation interested in exhibiting should contact the Euro Bus Expo sales team on +44 (0) 1926 834790, by email to info@eurobusxpo.com or by going to www.eurobusxpo.com.
